No public cloud at all: a T7 disk in a lawyer setup
This is an anonymized professional setup, not a client file. The roll is lab stills and travel photos mixed to the ratio you would expect on a work phone that also holds a family. No real case material.
Both phones had system photo clouds off. Azalea only got a USB profile. The T7 Shield shipped exFAT; a Mac diskutil info confirmed no APFS container. The iPhone picked Matters-lab in Files; the Pixel used SAF.
96 minutes is mostly USB 3.2 and fewer tiny files than the iPhone 15 run. Both failures happened while moving the disk from iPhone to Pixel with the connector half-seated. DeviceDetached, reseat, continue.
Finder can preview the physical files. We did not rename them there. With the disk unplugged, neither phone can open the library. That is the point of the setup: there is no copy sitting in someone else’s region.
